Driving & commands

The all-new 426F2 cab is designed for optimum comfort, ease of use and design to meet the demands of today's drivers. The new design includes a spacious interior, a flat windshield and excellent visibility. The cab is wider, allowing the driver to move freely when switching from one operating mode to another.
Thanks to excellent ergonomics, all controls are within easy reach of the driver. Other features include additional cargo space, large adjustable vents throughout the cab, and transparent gauges that provide drivers with the information they need to optimize machine performance.
Tinted windows are standard.


The 426F2 is equipped with a Cat 3054C Engine. It is a turbocharged, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, direct injection engine with standard glow plugs for optimum cold weather performance. The starting performance is thus reliable down to -26 ° C. The engine also features a gear-driven water pump, which provides better reliability than conventional belt-driven pumps.

Axles and brakes

The rear axle of the 426F2 is under crankcase and features a multi-disc braking system. It is an oil-filled self-regulating circuit capable of operating in the most difficult conditions. The system uses two brake pedals to better distribute the braking effort in tight bends.
All Wheel Drive (AWD) is engaged by a
contactor located on the front console or by means of the brake pedal when braking on all wheels.
All wheel drive engages in the stride and under load, regardless of the ratio, in forward or reverse.
The AWD front axle is mounted on a rocker arm, permanently sealed and lubricated, and therefore does not require daily maintenance.
